Is it possible to work in strategy consulting in Paris (MBB, T2) with a medium level of French language skills? To give some context, I already worked in strategy consulting at T2 (Private Equity team - mostly CDD/VDD) in another EU country and I will be doing a Masters in Finance in France at a target school. I'm half American so I'm a native English speaker. Would the French language skills be a total deal-breaker for Paris offices?

Looking from the in house side, what year (eg, fourth year associate) is a sweet spot to go in house? Especially as private equity associate.
