Also, whether this person is senior to you or not, they sound obnoxious. Try to work on setting acceptable boundaries (it’s good practice for your entire career).
Stop bending over backwards for him. If he asks you to set up a meeting, say youre in the middle of something but can do it when youre free. Stop replying to him so fast and thoroughly that hes dependent on you. It sounds like your job duties are separate so keep it that way and assist every once in while, not all the time.
