Currently an engineer in MCOL area with 4 years experience (post graduating, not counting experience before/during college and large side gigs). I currently work as a senior research analyst at Publicis at a CTC of 16lpa with a total of 6yoe. I'm up for promotion to become a lead analyst. However, I have an offer for 20lpa for a senior consultant role in a reputed financial institution.
My dilemma is that should I take the offer for the same role, or should I continue working in the current company for the promotion? My CTC will become around ~20 lpa in Publicis after the promotion (i.e in Mar/Apr)
