So worth it. 100000 times better

it’s so amazing and so different from store bought. for close to homemade - you get fresh pasta at Whole Foods or Eataly if there’s one near you.
Nope. Fresh pasta is better than dried, but the fresh pasta I can buy at the store is just as good as anything homemade.

If you have time and intent in learning how to make your own pasta (and be a gourmand occasionally), go for it :) who knows you might like the experience.
It’s really easy with a pasta maker and you know /can control exactly what’s going in it.
It’s not really the taste as much as fresh pasta is a completely different texture.
Dry pasta is just so cheap at the store though… 🙈
Fresh pasta is superior. Plus, you can get creative with it. I once made beets pasta and it tasted amazing
