Wishing you luck here. It’s kind of sad that the majority of advances and achievements that created our world were invented by the neurodivergent, and yet we face so much discrimination in today’s workforce. There’s a lot of value to be created here, if you can find a structure to harness it.
For us just an awareness thing. It still hurts on the day to day to be neurodivergent.
Right you are.
Okay
Okay…is a perfectly reasonable answer here.

Nah.
Neurodivergent is just a word that weird people decided to give themselves. It’s amorphous and undefinable.

You’re a director about to be pitching to a billionaire, I should be asking you for tips!
Still looking longingly for a role/company I can get into a groove with and settle into for a while.
Director does not = stability.

So...what was your question again?
Neurodivergent, diversity, maximize, collabortaive, idea factory, billionaire...there's a lot to unpack here.
I am feeling dizzy.

I’ve been seeing some internal comms re this lately but idk if it’s just an awareness thing or if it’s aligned to HR strategy (yet).
Any context on firm would be helpful if you don’t feel like IDing.
No and consulting case interviews aren't a neurodivergent-friendly screen.
True dat
No. Last year everyone was like “I’m autistic because I’m an introvert” but then all the ADHD ads came on so those people were like “wait, I’m not autistic, I just have ADHD”. But then now they’re like “wait, maybe I’m neither of those things but society thinks I’m different so maybe I’ll just call myself neurodivergent”

You’ll find a lot of neurodivergent people at tech startups esp silicon valley based ones. It’s not openly discussed per say but when everyone says they are introverts who need structure and hate change and they avoid eye contact - or on the flip side, that they don’t sleep and thrive off of generating nonstop ideas and are go go - you all kinda wink wink.
Also Google as someone said above
Google
EY. SAP. Landmark college. DXC Technology. Australian Gov. a few of the leaders in this space
Ey has a neurodiversity practice
They’re paying them significantly less than traditional EY.
