Does having a referral make a big difference to get your application reviewed?

I'm currently in Canada and planning to move to Sweden soon so applied for a few spots however I don't have even the slightest idea if
a) applying from Ca will actually get my application tossed out the window
b) I've heard there are gazillion ppl applying so if referral gets me on the radar, instead wasting time just find someone to refer me?

My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. What do you do when a store manager let's a cashier.walk all over the assistant manager? Dm isn't any help. I'm at my wits end! Store manager sticks up for cashier every single time. I've offered to give that cashier my keys . I'm so done with trying to do right, only to have manager make up excuses.

I have always filled the Timesheet under "Unassigned task" with Non billable hours as 9hrs. But from today it is showing that Non Job Activity should be less than 4 hrs. Hence i am unable to fill timesheet. Please help me what to do?

Working as CAL Manager with Accenture S&C India. Offered ~GBP 76.5K (fixed plus flexi) at Manager Grade by Deloitte London.

Prior to Accenture, I have already served as S&O Manager with Deloitte India for ~1.5 yrs - so this would be my second stint with Deloitte as Manager "again".

2 questions:
1. Should I ask for Senior Mgr (AD) grade - to which they have already said NO
2. Is GBP 76.5K sitting at the lower end of M grade in Deloitte UK? What should be a good expectation for the role
