Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

There are perfectly functional (and perhaps better functioning) baby carriers that are half the price. Owning an Artipoppe carrier is kind of like owning a Louis Vuitton purse. The quality and materials of the Artipoppe are nice, but a lot of what you’re paying for is the luxury aspect of it.
I baby wore all three of my children. Baby carriers are kind of like jeans, everyone has a brand, fabric and cut they prefer.
I prefer stretchy wraps when they are newborn until about 12-15 pounds, these are brands like Solly, KTan, and Boba. I liked Solly the most (beautiful patterns and lighter fabric) and Ktan the least (didn't fit me to my liking).
As they get older I then like an inward facing carrier. My preferred brand is Sakura Bloom, and their carrier is called a scout. I also like slings, also from Sakura Bloom. Another similar and popular carrier brand is Happy Baby. For slings people also like Vienna Springs.
There are, of course, Ergo, Baby Bjorn and other brands for structured carriers. For structured carriers, which are often bulkier, I lean toward lillebaby for their functionality. However, full transparency I left the bulky carrier world after finding Sakura Bloom.
Above all else, I recommend no matter what brand you use that you watch YouTube videos of how to properly wear and carry your child in that carrier. Wearing your baby incorrectly can be uncomfortable for each or both of you at best, and dangerous at worst. Also, if you are not wearing them properly it increases the likelihood of them fussing and not liking the carrier.
Noooooooo not worth it at alllllll. How old/big is your baby? Then I can make a recommendation! I run a carrier lending library 😊
Two kids I used three with each kid… had others but my go tos… moby wrap for home chillin super newborn stage, bjorn for home and out for little baby and new born stage and ergo 360 ( the one that can do newborn- huge toddler) for like 6+ months .. I needed all .. love baby carrying tho .. also tried a bunch of others except always wanted to get the one that goes into a belt pack just in case but never did
I love my Lalabu carrier and it’s so easy to use/adjust while wearing, comfortable for baby and stylish. I think it’s $70-90.
I swear by my artipoppe carrier!! agree there are other more affordable options but nothing but great things to say about it. I personally wanted something long-lasting and of good quality since I knew I’d be using it frequently and for a long time (live in nyc and limit the use of my stroller)
@P1 to be fair, many people don't know about the appropriation unless they become involved in the baby wearing community. I was completely unaware in 2017 when SB launched their backpack that it was cultural appropriation not to have called it as it is now named the onbuhimo. In the baby wearing groups I've corrected people who say onbu, but unless I know someone is invested in the community and interested I assume their knowledge to be minimal (not in a snotty way).
I do loathe when carriers advertise improper use, though!
I didn’t use it (I had the ergo 360) but know moms who swear by it. There are buy sell groups on Facebook if you want to get it cheaper
I love mine
Artipoppe is the best! Don’t listen to the haters
Those that do have it - did you wait until baby was older? I’ve read that despite them being advertised as newborn safe, they’re too big for newborns
Coach
I think you’ll find that people who have artipoppe SWEAR BY IT. And people who don’t, diminish it.
Artipoppe has unparalleled waist and back support. Does amazing support of the M legs, and is so fast and easy and safe to clip in and out of.
Others, especially slings, require way more expertise and practice. I shared mine with my husband as he could rapidly drag the buckles to his size, switching between us.
It’s one of my best purchases and I used it with both babies.
Newborn Q:
It has adjustable under-butt buttons to make the base more snug for a new born, and a top flap that goes up behind their head for those months before neck support. With that said, for my second I also used a $40 conny carrier for the first 2 weeks (only) because they’re so so tiny then, and conny is very snug (and also easy, no knots!)
the reason you don’t put anything in baby’s crib is the same reason you don’t cover baby’s airways in a carrier (pictured above in Artipoppe marketing) so the answer to both is because of accidental suffocation and SIDS - so yes … am I missing something here? I’m not sure who you think you’re educating…
