Is the job market really this dead?? I've never worked so hard to try and land a job to only hear nothing back or just get an automated e-mail rejection letter.

What few interviews I've had come my way have only come through recruiters and even those seem to be dead end positions that aren't really ready to hire anyone (jobs that have been open for months and continue to meet with people but make no offer to anybody).


Anybody else struggling? How long have you been on the market?

i am btech fresher in IT branch , i got selected in CTS at 6.75 lpa my interview role was java developer but now i have started internship and got SCM domain .

I have an interview for a Principal Renewals Manager role at Slack/Salesforce this Wednesday and I was hoping for some advice on how I can wow them? Ive done a lot of research and made loads of notes but get very nervous in interviews and dont always articulate how I would want to / say everything I want to cover. This is a recent incident happened to me, was interviewed for tcs, salary discussion happened on 12th March and was told to wait for final approval and was told that offer letter would be rolled out in 2 weeks. Hr did not negotiate on the CTC either. After waiting for a month i tried reaching HR they did not respond. After multiple emails they simply say that they cannot move forward due to high deviations. Guys is this normal in TCS that even after final CTC discussions ,candidates get rejectd.

Just wanted to ask if I'll be provided training in my initial months as a front end engineer or am I expected to work from the very first day.

I’ve had several great interviews with a few diff companies. Or rather, I thought they went well but then I get the dreaded “thanks but we made the difficult decision to move forward with other candidates”. I’ve asked for feedback but so far have gotten none.

I know it’s competitive out there, but I also don’t know how I can either position myself better, seek positions that are more aligned with my expertise/experience, or work on improving certain areas.

Any advice on how to proceed?

I have 7 plus experience in c++. I am trying new job within Chennai location but I am getting 1 or 2 interview calls for a month. I know c++ is old language and openings are very less and competitor people also less.
Shall learn new courses like AWS... its totally different from my experience I am not sure it will help to my career.

Could you please suggest shall I continue with c++ or shall I go with other platforms. Since I am getting very low package.

Not a sales based question but have a second interview for TierPoint Inc. they are an IT company and this is a manager of operations role. Their clients have some big names but I work for a global company that’s massive.

Does anyone know if their companies use them for managed services/cloud etc and is this a well known company that is rated well to use and work with?

I am a senior at a top 50 regional firm and have been here for a year. Prior to this was 2 years at a smaller firm. I am interviewing in industry and have not landed a gig yet. I am wondering if it is because industry folks are not familiar with my firm. I am thinking about making a switch to a top 10 PA firm and sticking it out until manager and then reevaluating a move to industry. If my ultimate goal is to move to industry, would you suggest moving to a larger PA firm for brand recognition?

I need some insight. Just had a phone interview for a management job in healthcare. I felt comfortable and felt like the interview went well. I ask questions and the ACNO said that I asked great questions. They said that they had other interviews to do as well but said the next step is to bring me in for an on-site interview (I live 1,000 miles away) and that the recruiter would be reaching out.
