is there a lot of competition between male and female researchers, and if there is, do you think it's usually in good humor?

I don’t think there is any gender-based competition to be honest.

There is competition between male and female researchers, but I think it is very lighthearted. Both genders want to be successful, and this creates a healthy level of competition.

I think with feminism rising and the wave against it, not everyone is excited that female researchers are becoming more and more mainstay in our industry. I, personally, don't mind your gender as long as you're a good researcher.

So I got invited to do an on-site interview and as part of it, the hiring manager wants me to present some of the chemistry I'm currently working on. The problem is all my work has been government contracted and hasn't been published, so due to confidentiality I can't present any complete schemes or specific structures. Any tips on how to ace this presentation?
