FDD 🐠 I will be promoted to audit SM in October, however looking to transfer to the FDD practice. Based on discussions with partners in the practice, I would be brought in as an experienced manager with opportunity to promote to senior manager in FDD next year. Is the learning curve steep, or should I push to come in as SM? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Looking to transfer into a client associate role (unregistered at the moment, but willing to obtain). Currently have ~1.5 YOE in valuation (financial statement analysis, modeling, etc.) I get that those skills could be unrelated to a CSA role, but I think there could be some similarities. I have 4.3 YOE currently and I was offered Engr II - Full Stack position in VDSI. But after doing some research it seems Engr II is usually for YOE between 2 and 4. Is this correct? Will there be a problem for me if I take up this position with my YOE?
Since I am a lateral entry, I think promotion to Engr III also would take a lot of time.

Also can you please let me know the current designation hierarchy in VDSI?

HNY all! I have multiple rollover and traditional IRAs, as well as a solo 401k. But (since I started paying attention to this kind of thing) have always been over the income limit to start a Roth IRA. I’ve also not done much contributing in the last few years due to purchasing an apartment and saving for renovations. Cue pandemic joblessness... if married filing separately, would you say it’s a good idea to start a Roth while under the income limit, even in this climate? Any reason not to?

Amdocs : 7 lpa fixed
TCS : 7.5 lpa fixed
I want to try for counter offer. Any ideas on how should I approach for counter.

Ps. I'm sure that TCS would not be paying more than that. Because after negotiating alot they agreed for 7.5 lpa.
