I have 6 and half YOE in front end development. (angular and hybrid applications). I joined my current organization ( product based) in Feb for 24LPA. The work here is too stressful and there is absolutely zero WLB. So I decided to start looking out again. However I am not getting good interview calls. Are most companies not hiring now ? Or could it because my CTC is too high ?

I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. I was recently in discussion with the HR for an offer that was made (verbal only) to me where I had to give confirmation on a taxation scheme. After giving the confirmation they assumed (mentioned this when the shared the TC breakup) I had accepted the offer. Then I sent an email saying I am declining it as I have another offer which is more aligned for me.
