Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.

I was in 4 processes. 2 of them seem to have slowed down with HR saying panel not available, waiting client approval etc and one just stopped responding after asking for time for 2nd round.

Are there any signs of slowdown or companies rethinking their hiring plans ?
