Yes - but now be wise enough to ask targeted questions of whoever is handing this to you to guide your work. Ask for contacts at your firm who are SMEs and schedule time with them to go over prepared questions that will inform you on how to approach the work.
Also, keep this person closely updated on your progress - set up calls 2-3 times per week. If they’re good leaders they’ll guide you. The hardest thing to learn is that you never have to do things alone use the people around you as a resource.
This is really good advice. The very successful PPEDs I see all leverage their network.
