Is your legal department actually using AI tools for contract analysis? Relying entirely on automated software makes me anxious because it lacks the human nuance required to catch context. I keep worrying that we will spend more time auditing and correcting the algorithm than we would just reviewing the documents manually.

Many people I know at my company and others use it surface level. More so the way you would use spell check, compare, or grammerly. A way double-check your work or improve how you want to word a sentence. I don't know anyone who has admitted to leveraging it for true drafting or analysis.

you can always check your work after you run it thru AI, its not that hard

I think it really depends on the role. I can see it being helpful in a commercial counsel role where the AI can get a comprehensive view of only a few types of agreements and can pull from a well-established playbook. Use case is more limited when there is a lot of variety and different contexts.

Current CTC 16, offered 26 by Fidelity - fixed and variable split almost same in current company as well as fidelity

Java, spring boot tech stack

Fair ? Good? Bad ?
Thanks

Higher offers at 27-28 with more fixed pay is from contract and hire/fire type companies. Mostly indirect hiring instead of direct employment with the final employer, means higher pay with lower jon security - we get little more pay, companies get the option to let go with ease later!

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for. I would appreciate any input!!!!

Looking for some mental health advice - I’ve been dealing with pretty debilitating anxiety/panic attacks for over 5 years. Finally started to get some help for it through medication, however the first 3 meds my PCP prescribed me (ssris) didn’t work. Because I haven’t deal with the anxiety it’s gotten really bad. Do I go to a pyscitatrist whose trained more in pharma or start with therapist. Have done therapy in past without much help.

It’s not changing in the last several years and it’s impacting our relationship. Anyone have experience with their SO dealing with untreated anxiety? I know I can’t control her but would like to express my feelings without sending her into a spiral. For context, I’ve been in therapy for 12 months and medicated

Coming up on one full year at an ID firm. Feeling overwhelmed with my experience so far. I’ve received minimal training/feedback unless it was on something I messed up. It feels like the expectations don’t align with my level of experience. I have a case load of 45-55 with very little oversight or involvement from partners. Turnover is extremely high, as I’m the second longest tenured associate in the office. Looking for some guidance on whether this is the norm or not. Compensation is low 80’s.
