Hi everyone! I have a few questions on submitting the visa appointment fee expense for reimbursement in DTE: Can we submit an expense for our spouse’s visa appointment (they’re on H4)? I am from India and in order to pay the visa fee I used the NEFT option to pay but the Indian bank account my brother’s. What receipt will be accepted in DTE? I don’t think there’s any receipt that we received. It was just my brother initiated the transfer from his Deloitte" class="linkified" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" >account.Deloitte

Hi everyone, I have 2 years of experience in a service based industry as a Java developer, and I am eager to work hard and switch to a reputed product based organisation, but I am not getting proper time to study and practice data structures and algorithms, as I have so much to learn and understand things which are related to my project. Any suggestions would be appreciated and I'll try to inculcate it. Thanks in advance! Amazon Oracle Samsung Microsoft Cisco Salesforce Arcesium Uber

Life on H1B long term is torture .I have an approved labour from 2010 and still waiting for the GC process to get done.Hang in there
Dude.I think you should wait for the PERM process to get over and get your labor approved .It allows you 1 year extensions of H1-B.At least you can move employers.Better yet ,After labor gets approved file for 1-140 in premium processing and get 3 year approvals
I just quit EY OP. Joining Deloitte. What practice are you in ?
Assurance. Sometimes I feel like I'm stuck. It's torturous.
Nobody will hire you in the 5th year of H1B. Hang tight till your I140 approval.
Is ey so scary? Wait for your I 140 approval and wait 6 months after that so that ey can’t revoke your I 140. That will give you unlimited extension as well .and is ey so bad??? Get the hell out of there.
OP I’m in SAP practice but did an ITRA project once . The bitch manager keeps yelling at me “Is there a reason you didn’t do this this and that “ everyday
Wouldn't term the whole firm as bad. Few senior level folks I work with are negative, and the outlook for the sub service line isn't as good. Tons of layoffs.
@op I am in the same boat with Deloitte. Sorry to give you the bad news, I have been applying since last 15 days and not even one company wants a h1b. I have my i140 and newly stamped h1 renewal. It seems Deloitte stopped hiring internationals. I know 15 days is not something I should base my conclusion on but it’s not looking good out there in general. Find a way until things clear up.
@M1, that seems to be the general trend out there. Just too depressing at times.
Why depressing. I’d say start consolidating your life, start questioning things as in is this the place for you, you have some valuable American big 4 experience and guessing also a degree. You won’t die hungry, just screw the American dream. You don’t have to wait another 10 years to get a gc and then another 5 years to naturalize. You realize till the day you don’t a gc you’d have to go through the same shit over and over. It will keep getting tougher as you move up. You’re married to the US, come up with plan B,C at the end it’s about finding peace and happiness. Sending positive vibes @op
You’re not married lol
@M1 I am, happily, at last until now. :)
M1 what do you mean Deloitte stopped hiring internationals? Which service line?
Advisory Analytics
Gotcha. Thanks M1
I just got an offer from Advisory Analytics. They are initiating my GC transfer. In fact I am boomeranging back there after 2 years. Where did you get the news they not hiring international? The interview I went to in DC had all Desi's.
Gc and h1 are completely different stories buddy
