Meta technical solutions consultant interview prep - can someone let me know if they have gone through the technical rounds for Technical Solutions Consultant role? Can you share what to prepare for since it’s not a data science type of role so most likely not hard level MySQL questions. Any specific types of queries that I should learn? Thanks!

Search while you have a job. You’re at an advantage
"creating a vacancy" is a cute sentiment but in my experience management just doesn't hire replacements
World has gone to dogs. No country/job/company for decent men. Feeling of inside animal farm is real. Spend time with your kids/partner/parents/friends/family, everything else is just tightening up your own chains.
Absolutely man. I'm a tech person with experience and degree but I've truly learned that what counts is finding something unique where you feel valued and have close friends at work . We all die why focus on monet when there Is so much more to life . I've said it before and now I stand even more behind it I'm not moving to LA or NY for any tech job ever . I've made sacrifices and moved for work but life is just too short to not enjoy the few little things in life that make you happy including nice people
I agree that you should stay put for now as you apply. The job market is really bad. However, it is important to take care of your physical and mental health. Spend more time away from the screen. Spend more time outdoors either relaxing or getting exercise. Treat yourself to activities which bring you joy and inspiration. Volunteer if you have the energy. Take advantage of vacation time. The idea is to put some distance between yourself and your job. Talk to a professional. Career counseling and/or a therapists might be useful. Eat healthy. Drink lots of water. Maintain proper sleep. Wishing you the best of luck!
Be grateful for what you have. Don't go chasing waterfalls. The grass isn't any greener anyplace else. It's all dead and brown, burnt by the sun.
Sometimes it is so awful that you just have to leave, and when you leave, take as much with you as you can.
Try the medical field in IT. I worked for Mary Washington Healthcare in Fredericksburg, VA and I felt pride coming into work although a lot of doctors and nurses are A-holes but at the end of the day you feel like you were apart of something good. I think you might like it and it's challenging at times too!
Remember “Making the world a better place” is what got us here. People are going to have to quickly figure out how to make it on their own. Corps no longer care for people only profits.
People thought the first "great resignation" was bad... wait until (if ever) the economy turns back around... so many people, like you - are in the same situation.
Being as I am a practical person, it is great that you have a well paid job. Be proud of the work you do and the contribution you make to your company. Meanwhile, consider volunteering or starting a passion project on your own. You may find a new career or a position doing the same type of work but contributing to something greater.
Man I understand ya. I worked for 7 years in start-ups/indie studios mainly in such a stressful and fast-paced environment that now I was lucky to find a job in corporate, well paid slightly less than before, but less stressful, I still pull myself by the strings to do the job. And it's much more boring and I see less progression for myself. But yet, I tried to look for something else, and didn't find anything better, they all ask to be a swiss-knife man for same or lower salary than I have now.
Now I don't even know what I want :D
If you're looking for ways as an IT person to get your ideas heard I highly recommend reading The Real Business of IT. It's all about how to explain IT value in terms of value to the business.
Omg this is so true
Just admitting you're burnt out is the first step. Companies don't want to hear it, but the more we speak out the more they canNOT ignore the damage they're doing by treating us like gas-station pump-jockey's circa 1996
