I've always wanted to work in law enforcement and advance my career to become a detective. Unfortunately, for many reasons, I tend to pick up another job when the chips are down. I'm in med school currently. One of my patients, a chief of police, has somehow reignited my love for LE. Should I ditch med school and focus on my true calling? Salary does not matter to me as long as I am diligent about spending my money. Any advice is appreciated.

Negotiation in new offer: I’m moving from fully remote to fully in office (with chance of hybrid later) offer for associate director in quality in pharma for 170k base, 18% bonus and 75k equity. I’m seriously contemplating taking a software development boot camp. For those who hire new software developers, does it make you stand out if you get your certificate from a university instead of a coding academy (like coding dojo or something)?
