I worked for big 4 as an org transformation consultant out of college for 2 yrs. I have about 8 years experience total in tech project mgt/implementations, and a non target MBA.

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

HELP! When using other offers to negotiate salary, does the employer usually ask for proof of your other offers that you mentioned? I’m super new to this so I’m just curious.

Hi everyone I am relocating to Hyderabad next month. Even though I look forward to meeting new people I can’t seem to ignore the fact that I will move away from family. My family situation is already complicated, my mom and dad are not on good terms so we don’t live together and when I move it’ll get worse. If you see several ways to improve a Team when you join, should you 1) Do it slowly over a free months so it doesn’t look like you did really good in the beginning then stopped 2) Wait until you are more involved so people don’t think you just joined and can do all these changes

I wish firms had special HR teams to work with prospective candidates outside of typical work hours. Have had a couple interviews (technically) that I’ve botched from just general fatigue or fire drills at work
