I’ve been laid off and I’m trying to find a new role but the ghosting from Recruiters is REALLY getting to me. Someone will reach out to me, ask if I’m interested in a role and then NOT respond to me when I say I AM interested. Worse yet, when you’ve gone a couple rounds of interviews and ask about next steps and hear crickets. I know how it feels when you reach out to someone and hear nothing back so I legit try to respond to EVERY LinkedIn or email so the lack of empathy really pisses me off.

I wanted to know how long does Course5i take to release an offer, I cleared all rounds last friday and was going to get an offer from HR early this week (by Monday evening or Tuesday) but didn’t get any offer till now.

I loved the role and I am still excited to join the organisation so mailed a follow up to the HR yesterday but did not get any response till now. I do not want to follow up for the next 1-2 days since I feel it would be too pushy from my end.

Two weeks ago I attended an interview in person and they promised to let me know whether or not I’d be hired for the position. Later, I learned through LinkedIn that a friend of mine got the job. The agency never contacted me to let me know anything. Should I be mad?

My last therapist keeps coming up in my mind. I left her when I moved to a new area before COVID dug in and frankly it felt like leaving a girlfriend. She also disclosed in the final session that she was a member of AA and knew several of the people I occasionally discussed from the rooms. Her knowledge of the program certainly built trust with me early on, but it has been two years. I discussed it with my current therapist but she’s still in there. Any advice?
