7ARM - 4.25% interest rate
30 fixed - 4.75 % interest rate

Banker is recommending 7ARM but wanted to get general opinion as well.

I’ll start - I’m an advisor in Wealth Management with TC of $70k, 3 YOE and no side hustle. Among other things, rent just jumped from $2500 to $3700 for 2 bedroom and areas were looking at. I’d like to “make it” here but if it means switching career to make money I’d like to get an idea to make the right job change.

So physically and mentally tired, I don't know how long I can keep up with work anymore. Told my senior management that I'm burning out, only to be blessed with another secondment. I now have two going at the same time, plus other client work, new business work, and managing scroundels.

I loathe Monday morning meetings. We have a monthly team meeting at 8:00am PT and it makes me so mad! 😂 It’s always on a Monday, and I have the hardest time getting motivated for them. Normally I wake up at 6:30am, check the news, stocks, shower, eat breakfast, get dressed and start answering emails at 8am.. no speaking meetings until 10am. However, on the team meeting Monday’s, I’m scrambling to do my morning routine and get setup to present/share my screen.. I hate them. We all hate them lol!

HELP! How do you handle a client who is racially discriminating? The client is a goverment office in the Middle East and has discriminated everyone from staff to SM level. Client is always right and nothing youll say is ever right because of the difference in our race. The difference on our race was an issue for him. One of my best friends growing up just passed away. We lost contact with each other a year or two after graduating high school and I recently came to learn he was was battling cancer the past 5 years and ultimately succumbed to the illness. He hid it well from everyone and led a very private life during it all. To make matters worse, he had just turned 25. Seeing pictures of the condition he was in towards the end of his fight broke my heart. I wish I had known so I could’ve been there for him.

Gift giving help: every year around this time my husband brings up his Jan bday and basically demands I spend a lot of $ on him. I find this stressful.
