I’ve been seeing a ton of listings lately for roles in AI-driven finance strategy, which sounds great, but also a little like marketing fluff. I’ve done machine learning modeling before and worked with automation tools, but I still don’t know what some of these job descriptions actually mean. Are we talking data infrastructure, dashboarding, investment models, forecasting? Or is this just the next buzzword companies slap on everything? Are you seeing real innovation or just recycled jargon in a new wrapper?

I have an offer in PE VP role in Citco and JPM and I am at cross road on which is one to company to choose. Their pay is very similar but JPM is offering an attractive signing on bonus. I need a honest advise on which is better between these two firms.

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
