Looking for some honest advice. Considering an offer with SocGen B’lore for Specialist Software Engineer position with 5.5 years exp and into Tech service management. Could you please tell me a bit about following points?
- 25% of the compensation(5Lakhs) is Variable. Does company even pay 60% of it at the end of the year if you perform say 4/5 rating?
- What is an average annual hike that the firm gives?

3-4 would be max but five is pushing it. I wonder if they're just having you meet more people from the team to see if you'd be a good fit or if they genuinely have more questions.
I’ve been in that situation before and ended up realizing they weren’t really sure what they wanted. Sometimes it’s a red flag about decision-making or internal alignment.
I am one of those people that won't do more than two rounds. I am sorry but there is just no need to do that many rounds of interviews. They should have already been able to make their decision.
It's been nearly 2 months depending on the timing. I know some places take a while but it seems crazy.
What kind of questions are left to be asked? Are they repeating questions you already answered?
Also, how big is this company. That usually indicates the turnaround time for candidate to hire. At least to me it does. Also, what industry do they operate in?
