Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?
I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google

Ya there are also companies laying off employees while they are on parental leave, at some point it’s each person for themselves, take advantage of whatever works. Life is going to turn lord of the flies as AI eats more of the job market.
Go for it.
I view this more as a matter of career planning than an ethical issue.
Parental leave offers people an opportunity to pause and reflect—something many individuals simply do not have the time to do during their regular routines. Of course, from a corporate perspective, this might seem unfair; however, employees also have the right to re-evaluate their career paths.
Perhaps the real question worth discussing is this: Why do so many people begin considering leaving their current companies precisely during their parental leave?

I think honestly it's just the fact that on parental leave, you actually have some time to sit down and fight the job hunt market. Maybe you're wanting a change due to your at home circumstances changing? I think it's better than doing it whilst at work..
What is more fair and what is more insulting? Job hopping while on an alt version of PRO or doing it on the clock during regular business hours?
Fairness and loyalty went out the window a long time ago. I’m not cynical, that’s just how it is. My family will always take priority over any sense of loyalty to an employer.
When on the clock, bring your A game. When using company perks, use them however you wish. And always be looking, interviewing, networking. Only you can keep you employed.
