I got an email last night from a 7th-grade parent because her son said I mentioned the words "male privilege" in class, and she is very concerned about how that is related to ELA (she said "reading"), and she is concerned about this being taught in public schools. Ok. I am teaching music in person and when we have a case of COVID in the school, I push into the classroom for 10 days. Are there music websites that are free that I can go to for quick lessons when I’m asked to teach in the classroom. I was told today with 5 minutes to prepare that we had a case, I couldn’t teach in my room and I couldn’t do the ukulele unit I had planned. I had to think on the fly and quickly came up with a BrainPop for them. I’d like to find a few more music sites.

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

Two company A&B gave more or less package X+3 Lakh.

Can we still negotiate with company A Or B to get top up from X+3 to make a clear decision to choose over one other.

Is this recommended approach?

Recently, my appraisal cycle got completed. So whenever a recruiter asks about CTC, will I need to add the Gratuity and Insurance and then tell the Total number.

In my company Total CTC = CTC + Gratuity + Insurance.
