I've received an offer from s&p and signed it as well. Now, I've a counter offer from current firm itself as they really want to retain me. However my preference is to join s&p.
I did initially has asked HR (even before this counter offer) to see if we can increase the joining bonus or base, however she denied saying she already fought for the current numbers ( generic statement). I did not forced her though at that stage.
However now since I have counter offer, is it best to renegotiate?
