AWS cloud application architect. Had an on-site interview with AWS a few days ago and just got an email saying they want to talk to me about next steps. The role is cloud application architect but I want to ask them about the senior cloud application architect role. I have all the relevant experience for that role and feel like I’d be a better fit for that senior role. How should I approach this conversation? Is this even possible? Amazon
Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Bottom line is that in the real world, numbers and targets aren't everything. Relationships, perception, likeability, etc matter, whether you like it or not, and can be even more important in some company cultures. These things are more important in small companies than big ones, because there is basically nowhere to hide.
I feel like they’re talking to me in a foreign language or I’m not picking up what they’re trying to tell me. My peers are usually very surprised to hear I’m leaving and wonder what’s wrong with leadership to let a top salesperson walk out the door. Nobody can give me feedback - but I know it must exist.
I performed well at Google and Amazon - is this just a sign that I’m not cut out for startups?

I was a presidents club sales person, been in sales for 5 years. Running a startup is tough as hell.
These days qualifications and numbers don’t matter in the tech fields, it’s who you know.
