Thought I'd share another leadership opportunity, this time for industry leaders in the Tech & Digital sector. Would love to connect with anyone who is a senior leader (MD / SVP) with deep experience in this sector alongside leadership experience in a TA / Growth or Client Relationship environment. Amazing opportunity to further establish and grow our presence with global leaders in Tech.

Hello Everyone,
I am a fresher with over 9+ months of experience as a Data Engineer at Tata Consultancy .
I just needed some suggestions from you experienced folks.🙏
In my current project my colleagues have over 6+ years of experience and are not very supportive and scold me for unnecessary reasons, which is effecting my mental health.😔
Also I am not getting to learn anything.

I think it’s funny that nobody inside Jaguar is gonna will get the ax. They are the ones who probably pushed the agency in this direction. Also, this is what happens when all the decisions are made by dicing and slicing data and throwing the brand equity out the window.

Half the point of our existence
Gotta love when a client pushes an agency in a specific direction then blames the agency for their own decisions. 🤦🏻♂️
Suits gonna suit.
A concept car doesn’t come from an agency. If Jaguar isn’t happy the only party to blame can be found in a mirror.
To be fair, they didn’t design these vehicles and seemed to make work that Jaguar felt fit whatever world they were attempting to create with this style.
I was scrolling to see if someone made this point. 100% agree

Can’t believe that didn’t work out
Shocking. Who was their focus group, Tumblr?
I love that a consulting firm owned “creative shop” effed this up.

"Accenture Song" lmao
I hope they are also firing anyone internal that approved it, because this stuff doesn’t happen in a vacuum. There are Jaguar execs who should be held just as accountable. Sorry but you can’t just blame the agency and then wash your hands and walk away like nothing happened.
CD1… I bet you are correct.

There were a lot of LinkedInfluencers writing bad think pieces supporting it. Would love to resurface a greatest hits
Weird. When it was launched they said it was done in-house. Now that everyone's laughing at it they say it was Accenture Song.
oh yeah true!

Jaguar execs bought this. Then they promoted it. It’s on them.
Exactly. The client had to approve it. Now it’s all the agency’s fault? Please. Typical - someone at Jaguar - the client - to CYA.
Since the acquisition of Droga, Accenture’s stock has risen over 75%. They are selling data, systems and strategy. Clearly, creative is not the priority.
Disgusting that in this day and age bias against Teletubby culture is alive and well.
Hiring an agency is all about externalizing risk and accountability. While we’ll never truly know who is really to blame for this scam of scams, I’m pretty sure nothing would have been produced without the endorsement and approval of people at Jaguar. And yet… it is always the agency that’s left holding the bag.
Welcome to advertising.
I guarantee, that with something as big as a full rebrand, approvals went all the way to the top at Jaguar. The CEO is just as culpable as anyone else in this scenario.
Thanks for the update!

You're welcome

Good!
I actually liked the positioning "Copy Nothing." But then, they copied everything in order to appease everyone. The target audience for a JAG is not everyone. A more strategic execution could have made that a great platform launch. I bet they had plenty of ideas on the table.
Unpopular opinion: car design is bold (design and styling could have been improved; overall either you hate it or you love it) but the advertising was too surreal and a departure from their existing audience. I think they could have landed it a bit better by grounding it to more relatable lifestyle imagery and people. Sell the benefit of the existing brand and of the flagship car more. It can still be a fashion show without saying “fashion show”. Have a connection to the present. Keep the badging of the car so there’s some connection to the brand.
Consumers invest in the legacy brand and idea. Build off that instead of scorched earth ground zero rebuild.
I really liked the pink artsy (albeit commercial) ad and new logo. They pushed really far into one vibe, and I expected them to show the masses what the ‘everyday’ version looks like. They really missed out on that part of the campaign. I saw this one UGC generated video of it in gray.
Hideous.
