I have been reading a few articles talking about how FAANG isn’t as lavish as it used to be. My first question is if that is true? If it is true, my second question is what companies out there have the pay, benefits, and perks like FAANG? My last question is if it is as difficult to get into those companies? $125k seems standard for first year JD/LLM in HCOL. Anything above is a plus. May also get signing bonus. Non M&A group
Out of curiosity, which offices were KPMG and PWC recruiting for? Did you have any choice in location?
Theres a thread on TLS
My classmate got $120k + $15k bonus - PwC. KMPG offered $115 + $10k bonus for Int’l, M&A should be about the same or more. Both Chicago.
Thank you. I’m going to look into it.
Jesus. Are Georgetown and NYU really that much above other programs? I’m a graduate of the LLM program at University to Washington law school. My starting salary in Seattle was $65k
Can confirm, am a Georgetown JD/LLM. SALT not too different than the numbers above (not as high - but close)

My classmates from NYU got between 115k and 135k depending on location

I got offered 135k + 5k relocation for PWC M&A in NYC.
Why not do big law...
It’s always going to be office dependent and I know our NYC office can work a lot (heard nightmare stuff from PwC in particular), like every firm/group. But it’s what I’ve seen pretty much all throughout our group here at KPMG.
