Im currently working at a Data Center, I’m Currently L3 and I’m wanting to see other options within Google. The problem is, as much as I reach out to Hiring managers and other Googlers in other ladders for information on what they do to get a better idea of other roles, I get no response. What’s a good way of networking to other googlers in other ladders. I feel Data Centers are so looked down upon and so out of touch with the rest of Google

I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

I met with Jeff H Sipes, paid for the hour discussion, short answer, 6/10. What I took from it, basic STAR-L method and when you go into detail answering the interview questions with him 1:1. He will remind you to ask your interviewer a lot of questions… and then to , “detail the type of pizza…. Is it pepperoni or is it just basic cheese”.
FWIW, I got the job at Google and start next month but didn’t find his hour session too helpful. His videos though are solid on YouTube. Lastly, his course may have contributed towards my confidence but I also prepared for a solid month. Good luck

I just used his YouTube videos for prep.
I used the course, but didn't book coaching time with him. Just accepted offer.
The main benefit of buying course is that it is well organized and has a lot of templates and examples. I'm sure you could find the important content in YouTube.
Use Preppally.com, way cheaper and deeper content
You can watch the videos on YouTube.
I watched all his videos and joined his slack group which was helpful to find partners to practice interviewing with.
I also had his mega list of questions before he made those private.
That being said I wouldn’t do a 1:1 honestly. The videos and prepping questions was enough. Got L4 PgM at Google and Meta

His courses are solid - I used his courses to get in. Before that, I interviewed at least 6-7 times without getting thru the RRK portion.

I watched the movie Intern and got the job lol
I joined Google almost 9 months back and only used his youtube videos. In my first attempt almost 2 year back I had his 1:1 coaching that I got free of cost on a promotion he was running and found it useful at that point but looking back I would say it was not worth money if i had to pay 200 bucks just for it. Happy to answer any other questions if you have.
