I'd personally not even put McK in the resume if you already got your dream role in a FAANG. 3 months at McK or the fact that you pulled off getting into McK probably won't mean much.
If you do still put it in your resume, one way to explain it could be some visa issue. E.g., you joined McK SEA bc you were interested in projects in developing economies but had visa issues; didn't consider transferring to Mck NA as the type of projects would be vastly different etc
It probably will depend on how long you stay at the dream role. Assuming you stay there a few years, I wouldn't bother to include it.
FWIW - I will be retiring in a couple of years and my current resume is missing the first 16 years of my career as it really isn't relevant.
Adding McK will only hurt you

Anybody been in this situation before?
What role are you going in at the FAANG? How did you answer this question during the interview- you joined McKinsey a month or 2 months back, why are you moving?

Is that going to be an issue, you think? You should probably tell them
