When your economic value is over for them, you find out who your real friends are
Amen.
Or just companies being gracious while you work there and aren’t leaving. 😄
Ha! Also important !
same here. As a former RGA, I’d never work there ever again. Treated like a piece of garbage during the exit process. HR person was the worst and knew what they were doing, but they were just careless. It was like ‘ we are rga and you are just a small puppet. We know you can’t harm us. Piece of shits..
True that
Lol coming from R/GA. I’d never work there again. They cut me without warning even after I helped win a piece of business and accidentally sent my partner an email with his own termination in it as an item on the intended recipient’s to-do list. Clueless and zero class. Though I did like Bob.
RGA is an absolutely terrible place - pure toxic
I recently gave my notice. Didn’t even get a goodbye from the management, not a card from my coworkers, nothing. Just made me feel better about leaving honestly.
Anyone who feels they sustain serious damage from a firing should call Steven Sack who wrote The Employee Handbook. He’s been on TV. You can get a $35 initial consult via the NYS bar association wherein he’ll see if you have a case. A friend got a way better severence for unfair dismissal - even though NYC is an at will city. True scumbags. Even if you have been there a long time. HR is not there to help and can’t be trusted.
Is this about a bar tab?
?
How long did you work there?
Do tell?
It’s not juicy gossip - just my own observation after giving notice how quickly I became dead to them. It’s been an awkward two weeks to say the least. A good reminder that at the end of the day you are only a resource to a company.
I’m turning to understand more about what they actually do now. Are they consultants like Accenture or Deloitte? Just strategy?
