This is so dependent on individual. I would personally move to a nice, smaller Midwest city like Columbus. Fun, good amenities, great social scene, and quality of life would be remarkable

M1: I am in Columbus right now. It’s so nicely laid but I would think the night life or social life is not that good.

Philly if you want a city. Cheaper than NYC but still good for culture and food. 90 min Amtrak to Penn Station. NY state and CT have pretty high taxes. Hoboken if you want slightly lower COL but still NY area. Lots of options s

I applied for a job at a well-known healthcare company a couple of months ago. I had a number of remote interviews and then they asked me to fly out for a final round of in-person interviews. Later that week they told me that they were going to be making an offer. Another week has gone by and still no offer. They said they are still working on it. Is this the new norm for recruiting? I have other offers and can't keep waiting for these foot draggers.

Please comment your YOE, Tech Stack and Service line.

I'm currently at 38L(Fixed) working with Deloitte USI, cleared all the rounds with EYGDS. I am asking for 30% hike only which will be 49.5L(Fixed) and that too they are saying out of budget. This is strange!!!

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
