Just got a job interview for consulting for Capgemini. But it's not in the city I had hoped for, so should I ask to change cities ahead of time or once I get an offer? I don't want to diminish my chances of being considered right off the bat. Any advice is welcomed, thanks.

Hi I am through the technical interview for Oracle fusion middleware admin position, with 3.2 years experience. Had call with HR and she mentioned only 45% hike is possible that would be around 6.5 LPA. I am expecting around 8LPA. When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?

.they asked whether they can schedule interview on Wednesday....i said Yes.

But somehow I get schedule cancellation e-mail on or before Tuesday & the process continues from last 1.5 months

What types of questions that can be asked in PDM round?

I prepared a presentation for an interview with a sales leader, it went well and I was offered a final interview with regional manager. The sales leader I interviewed with gave me a bunch of feedback, but said to find out information about tech stack, which I for some reason, didn’t consider. I come to find out that deep, hidden within the website of the hypothetical client, they use the service already. Do I roll into the final interview and play dumb or do i present and then come clean?

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

I feel like an idiot. For the past 3 years (26yo now) I have been electing the traditional 401k instead of Roth. I get 25% taken out pretax each paycheck. Given that I’m more likely to have a higher salary (currently 100k now) and therefore be in a higher tax bracket by the time I retire, shouldn’t I have elected Roth this entire time? 😩

I interviewed with kpmg for a senior associate position. They waited until the offer to tell me that they see me best as an associate. Which would be a step back in my career and even less money than we talked about. The job posting says minimum of 3 years and I have 4.
