I m getting offer from birlasoft is it safe
Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.
Thanks for setting this up!

To be honest, it sounds to me like you are casting yourself into far larger an ownership role on this project than is justified. From what you wrote it doesn’t seem like your feeling of betrayal is at all warranted. You did work on the project, you billed against it, now your work is done and there isn’t a role that makes sense for you anymore. If your relationship with this partner is good they will help you find something else to do.
Why don’t you just ask the partner what happened? It doesn’t have to be confrontational.
I know what really happened from the client stand point. Again it's a business decision that didn't require to run my workstream any longer. Good thing is my team got aligned to other workstream. A few of the managers just didn't get aligned since that would create duplicate roles and efforts.
Rising Star
Professional answer: be the bigger person and offer to provide any support, albeit minimal in time and scope, until you land another project. Also, ask the Partner why they made this choice?
Petty answer: burn the bridge, the plans, and the files. Let them figure things out on their own. Delay your responses to any/all emails from said Partner regarding the project until they explain why they made this choice?
Key Point: talk to the Partner. That person will do the same to you if you let this go without addressing it.
Wow D2.... beating myself chest and a saluting to the extremes of spectrum you laid out... haha bomb!!
PS -- been working for this partner for a long time now and we have been in good terms.
A week? It could not have been very complex or large project and you didn't formulate it well if it the client redesigned it and you didn't allocate yourself a role. Make sure you're on the sales attribution, document a sale in your performance, and move on.
I’m very sorry to hear that my friend. Nothing like a reset though. Easier said than done, but how about you make the most of it and find a new project
If you feel this way, why not discuss with him directly? Provide facts, this is how I see things from xyz view.

Think about the P&L of the project. What would need to be true for you to stay? Lose 1.5 consultants?
