Depends on agency. And what brand you’re currently working on. You’ve provided very little detail here. Although if it’s an omnicom shop, I’d say should.

Avoid not should
What made you apply? Question, not being snarky.
Chief
You took the call for a reason.
Doesn’t matter about “should,” do you actually want to?
Yes, but I like my work-life balance right now. I wish there was a way to not trade it off.
Would need quite a bit more info to assess. What holding co? Why did you apply? How’s the package comparatively? Etc etc etc
Eh - is the money / package MUCH better? Are the clients/brands? Is a good next step for wherever you want to go next? If yes to at least 2 of those three questions, maybe. If not, def not.
Depends on the holding company some are worse than others
Yes you should avoid.
I wouldn’t go back.
Ask what account/accounts this position will be on. Is it a replacement or new role? That might give you some insight.
But it’s more than likely your work life balance will get worse and coming up Q4, even more so.
Directors at holding companies regardless of the dept. are at the front lines, from working with the client directly to managing the team daily to also being hands on at times.
Be forewarned!
