I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. I am frustrated with the current work as i didnt find anything productive to learn.Continued in com KPMG @

I mean don’t let a recruiter who’s checked out on Friday afternoon keep you from getting a gig you really like.

Recruites are like ice cubes. They're cold until they disappear. I wouldn't read much into it.

Don’t want to brag or nothing, but I bet I have WAY more rejection emails than you.

She’s just being a recruiter. It’s like getting pissed at a snake for rattling it’s tail at you.
That sounds like Monday problem.
Don't give up on it yet! If you can get past the recruiter to the creative team, there could be something better on the other side. If you try to avoid rejection, you might miss out on a great opportunity. I say give it a chance, take the risk.

Well, if you are not feeling the vibe or like this work environment would be a good fit for you, and you are in a position to keep the job hut going comfortably, may be give this business a pass and find a better fit
I’ve never found that recruiting has any relationship to what a job or company are actually like. Just get what you need from them if the job is interesting to you.
