I’ve been told that cold applying and making no contacts is usually not going to lead to anything, and that’s been true in my experience. But should I reach out to someone first? How hard is it to get an interview for SWE at FAANG outside of on campus recruiting? I’m in GT’s OMSCS program right now, hoping to take advantage of career fairs this fall, but I don’t know if I’ll have enough time to prepare for the technical interviews before then. What was the signing bonus for MBA hires that just received offers this fall?

What is the perception of a McKinsey solution role that is a CSP? Can I exit to tech? Would the role be better than the T2 role I have now?
