I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

A few months ago I interviewed for a trading position. I recently received the job offer and the title doesn’t match the job description I applied for (it doesn’t have the word “trader”), though they insist that job responsibilities haven’t changed. Additionally, variable comp is very low % target and not based on individual performance. Any advice on what to do??

I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)
- Work with the recruiter + apply for jobs on my own?

I don’t have the relieving letter as of now.. it will take some time for my current organisation to release it.. how can i ho forward with the onboarding???
