Just moved to Stockholm from the Netherlands, been applying for consulting jobs without success.

Does anyone know if this is due to a slowing of hires or due to anything I lack? I know a lot of people in the Netherlands I studied with, with way less strong cv’s, that work for Big4 and related firms.

About me:

-Finished MBA 1 year ago (8.3gpa)

-Experience in founding 3 businesses (last years combined revenue: 220k) - cover letter states that I’m terminating my activities here.

-No Swedish

what is the average # of years of experience to make manager in ITAA , currently hold Sec+ and CISA. also what is the average M1 salary in ITAA (Risk Advisory).

Should you add your credentials in your email signature? Would love to hear your thoughts. I have an MBA mentioned in mine and I’ve heard mixed feedback about it on the internet. I value my education, also, they paid for my MBA so obviously they want employees to have one.

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

Are sponsored applicants less likely to get scholarship $ since the school knows that $ is likely not a barrier to attending?

Anyone have any idea when the hiring freeze might end within AWS ProServ? I’m currently at Amazon and have a TS clearance, PMP & CSM. I come from a Big4 consulting firm with a background in Enterprise Performance. I’ll be honest and say I’m not feeling very safe in my current role with the ongoing layoffs. Instead of leaving, I’d love to go back to my “consulting roots” and join the ProServ team. I’m taking my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam next weekend. Hoping this freeze is lifted soon.

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc).
