Just started J2 two months ago, should I quit now? ? I had a great conversation w hiring manager during interview and got an offer. Just started in March. However, my manager left last month and the new manager has been very micromanaging and unsupportive. I’m getting burned out already - should I quit no? I’m worried it might affect how I look at work (e.g. not serious about work, can’t handle stress, give up too quickly, poor people skills) and burn the bridge. Advice needed 😰

Generally speaking, as long as you quit on the right foot then it shouldn’t be too much of an issue if you did want to come back. It can look bad, but if you have an offer that is better than what you are currently going through, I think it’s worthwhile to seriously consider it at least.

More context: the pay is not bad so I’m thinking in the future I might return to this job, but it’s very draining dealing with that manager.

Go! This is J2, remember. Why would you put yourself through that

Seems like hiring has slowed down but i feel we are in for another bout of great resignations due to companies calling it's employees back now and employees finding ways to continue WFH. The ones who get lucky continue WFH while not so lucky ones will start switching and startups and other mid level companies cashing in on the talent. Looks like it's the lull before the storm.
