I have have been looking to pivot into a more impactful role this year. I am due for an interview for a Product Manager next week. The company ticks all my boxes but the job description a bit vague. Working at a company and they can’t seem to hold on to their female, black and people of color employees. I blinked and 3 of the people who were in my onboarding class were either fired or they left. For context I’ve been in company less than a year and there are people who have been in the company 25yrs. I’m thinking of cutting loose before it gets to my turn.

Hi everyone. I’m a front end software engineer. I’m interviewing next week for a solutions engineer at a company I really like, which I mistakenly applied for as I saw they needed ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Upon reading the job description, it’s clear I will be doing a lot of sales and client consulting over actually coding. I know they have a FE SWE role open. How would you approach asking the recruiter if there are any SWE openings I could be considered for instead ?

The company KPMG was suppose to deduct my joining bonus and other things in final settlement. Last working day was last day of month , which means i got full salary.
What they will do in final settlement? Will they ask me to pay separately? I have resigned and joined another organisation. Any one knows what will happen ?

How do y’all deal with people at work who are stuck on stupid? Like they have no idea what they’re talking about and they REFUSE to learn. It’s like they have a god complex or something even with proof, maybe bc of their tenure at the company? Even if there’s valid data backing up that they’re wrong.
