Largest ROI one can invest in early in their career? Tech skills? Soft skills? Another skillset? Does anyone have any foresight looking back in their career and those of their colleagues? 3 YOE and I don't want to be one of those "fake" consultants that just bill hours and talk bs in a few years.

Having a combo of soft skills (clear and succinct communication, business mindset) and technical skills (not necessarily being able to code, though that helps, but a solid understanding of core tech concepts, systems and database fundamentals) can benefit you tremendously since often times those two skills are one or the other with most people.

This allows you to have actually productive conversations with people from engineers to executives and in between while gaining the respect of each of those people.

This is exactly how I moved from analyst to SA ahead of the curve (before my consulting days). Only one on team that had coding, math, and communication so I interfaced between my team, quant team, and dev team so everyone from the key teams involved in my promotions knew who I was from the time I started out of college.

1. One of the most underrated skills is learning to love yourself, its free yet not so many people in consulting have it. They attach so much of their worth in what they do rather than who they are as people.

Is it bad to accept an offer from Gartner then finish the interviews at another company higher on my list and accept the other offers(Google/Microsoft) instead?

& Can I push for my compensation without presenting the other offers?
