Any insight from Deloitte folks on the announced layoffs? Has anyone from PwC or KPMG heard anything similar? EY has left the door open for layoffs, but hasn’t laid out specific plans yet. It feels inevitable though. While I don’t think I’m on the chopping block (famous last words), I do worry about the morale impact on my teams and the office in general. Curious to hear other perspectives.

I have chronic health issues and I’m severely depressed. I can’t even get myself to work anymore. If I don’t quit, I’m in serious danger of being fired. I feel that I need to just quit and take time off to get better but feel that it will be a stain on my career. I’m a pretty junior lawyer. Any advice. I just can’t do any work at all and I’m my anxiety and depression is spiraling out of control. I see a therapist I try to cope and it’s not working.

Hey friends, I was laid off (due to COVID) from Accenture a month ago as an analyst. I had a pretty good network of SM, MD and managers that I talked to frequently before. However once I was laid off, I got depressed and haven’t reached out to any of them. I feel horrible but I’m trying to push myself out of my depression and make some positive changes.
