What is the Deloitte MSP Team? Is it consulting?
After Appraisal, company haven't shared updated offer letter (with new salary), it's been 2+ months now.
If I start searching for new job, will that HR ask about recent offer letter? Or only salary slips are enough?

Take it. AWS has a pretty solid growth trajectory. Amazon stock is likely to stay an out performer. Friends who work there tend to love it - engineers and business side.
My guess is this year delays a lot of promotions and bonuses will be down. Path to partner will probably be longer if economic activity doesn’t pick back up quickly enough. Unless you’re in restructuring - then the opposite is true.
... very interested in the industry / sector. Typically involved in industrials projects and want to avoid being boxed in that sector if I continue down the consulting track. I think cloud is the future - but keep coming back to a lack of pay increase. Would you move without that carrot in an environment this uncertain?

Me personally, no. I also wouldn't take an AWS without a hefty pay bump under any circumstances given its firmwide reputation as a meat grinder and Bezos' reputation of being cheap.
If it isn’t a significant bump I wouldn’t take it. Also, FYI, cloud is the present and companies that aren’t utilizing it are now considered late adapters. I have worked with many federal clients that are now becoming heavy into cloud. If private sector isn’t touching it, unless they have a very specific reason (unique infrastructure or security requirements), they are behind.
As far as working at AWS in that role, I wouldn’t take a role just for strategy in AWS. If it was for Amazon as a whole that’s a much better deal. AWS would be limited to the data center and the services built around it. Amazon has logistics, a product, and whatever else they dip their beak into.
Ask for more money. If they really want you, they’d pay up. Also keep in mind that the RSU package is cash based and not count based as far as I know and you get a RSU refresher after year 2.
I personally would ask for more money in your base, and look into making sure I have benefits for an extended period of time, should I get laid off.
Exit opportunities are probably expansive once you put AWS S&O on your resume vs just Strategy&
Not sure about that, but safe to assume it’s for top performers only
Congrats OP! Not answering ur qn but have a qn for you: were you in IPS? Im about to join S& IPS post mba and was wondering how open are tech companies to us in ips...

Amazon base caps off around 170k, rest is in stock. I’d try to negotiate the sign on stock
Unfortunately this is a final offer after nearly walking away
@OP - first off, congratulations! Was wondering what you ended up deciding? I’m in a similar boat - have an S&O L5 offer from Amazon for Global Seller Strategy with heavy focus of driving analytics initiatives leveraging AWS sister team. I love the team I’ve interviewed with and they are really trying to get me to accept. I’m an SA3 with a manager track at Strategy& for next year. I’ve got a little over 4 years work experience post bachelors. Studied at a top 3 engineering school. I’ve wanted to break into top tech for the past two years now into S&O roles, and came close twice with Google and LinkedIn onsites, but the mba differentiator played in favor of competing candidates.
Hi PWC3, can you share how you got the opportunity? Referral? Headhunter / recruiter? Or just a random online application?
