I think DEI is ineffective when you focus on terminology and not on more organic initiatives. The people who need to learn from DEI the most are the ones that are the least likely to engage if you make it seem really in their face.
Really agree - you bring people along with terminology on the way
Window dressing DEI that's focused on how people perceive the company vs. actually addressing the concerns and needs within the organization
