Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

Hi guys :) Glad to join fishbowl and this community. Guys I have an offer of 14.41 ctc from a big 4 (11 is fixed).
Technology-Microsoft Dynamics 365(I am a functional consultant in SCM and HR; Relevant exp: 3 yrs & Total exp: 4 yrs).
My interviews in IBM are done and I am waiting for the salary discussion with HR.
What is the likely offer that I am going to get? Any idea? (My expectation is 16.5 lpa ctc). I will adjust my expectations as per replies here.
Any response is highly appreciated :)

You want to leave accounting and yet your offers are all accounting heavy roles. At face value, you probably don't want to pivot into FDD if you don't want accounting as these jobs are basically audit-lite.
Coach
It's really not. Accounting firms like to fall back on GAAP but accounting really is just a part of FDD. AICPA restricts accounting firms on what they can do which has heavily shaped the industry but anyone saying FDD is 100% accounting does not know what they are talking about.
It is first and foremost financial advisory for which accounting is a prerequisite.
Orange FDD, they seem to have good business
5 offers? How many hours did you spend on interviewing lmao
That was my first thought lol
Would probably pick the higher FDD in big 4 then try to go to a&m
Thank you
Orange FDD for sure. Unless A&M will take you directly.

If you want to leave accounting then MICO is by far the best option and it’s not even close. This is a true management consulting role- the rest you listed are accounting.
I have! I see Deloitte M&A I&D, EY SAT TSE, PwC DDV - hope that’s correct.
What’s the industry really defined as? Is it M&A Consulting… Sell & Separate advisory? Little bit ambiguous.
Thank you for your response as well
Huh?
FTI by a mile
Think this is my anchoring bias as well, mind telling me why?
Curious what other people have to say about MICO.
I would not want FDD, in EY FAAS myself and often work with EY FDD teams on transaction engagements and their hours and turnaround times are insane... seemingly all year around
FDD
MI/CO is more consulting than accounting and will get you more non accounting exits.
Coach
Whats the day to day like in MI/CO. Never heard of it. And how did you land a role like that? Do accounting firms offer or is it mostly PE?
Went from ARA focusing on capital markets readiness to KPMG’s version of MICO. If you don’t enjoy projects management I would say stay away.
I hope you picked MICO. It’s the least accounting of the lot and more traditional consulting/operational based. Good luck OP, your responses made me laugh
