Hi all, I currently work 52-55 hours on average weekly and have been at my company for 4 months. I am now the only operations team member and am expected to complete all ops work alone. (Barely got trained to begin with). Is it too much to ask a home health company for someone to shadow/orient? I was just hired PRN and that was something I asked for during the hiring process and the recruiter agreed. Is it normal for a Product Owner to lay out specs for how a feature should work?

I thought that was my job as the ux designer to figure out the best way to solve a need. But I’m getting handed projects where the PO, and sometimes the senior designer has laid out exactly what should happen (components used, flow, etc) to design a feature. It’s really frustrating because I don’t know if I’m supposed to be speaking up on what I think or just do the UI work I’m asked to.

Just switched to a gud org with gud perk,pay,project work but My boss is the epitome of a**h*** reasons-
Onboarded me on a huge project (12 phase proj) with no KT, only gave docs to read from.
He was handling this proj till phase 4 but has completely withdrawn out without proper transition.
I cannot make decisions and my decisions are overridden by him.
