I have received offer from Wipro which is little above than the offer that I am holding but fixed pay is less. Thinking of rejecting Wipro offer. Is it better to reject or accept and then not join. Also if I reject, will there be any issue like they won't consider me in future?Tata Consultancy Wipro Cognizant Infosys

Avoid wipro if you have been offered C1 and above. Variable pay is 15% or more for C1 and above.
Don't expect 100% variable pay atleast for few quarters.. it will be either 0 or between 0-50 to the max..
I am in C1 and have worked in Wipro for 10 years. This is for the first time I have seen that wipro has not given variable pay. It has never happened before. Even during covid , for 1 quarter wipro paid 50 percentage of VPay. Though I am leaving wipro now. but , I can assure you you get all your VPay money.
I think Wipro has a higher management issue. During my salary negotiation HR was in a bad mood and behaved very badly. Later when I declined the offer, she called and changed the CTC, and asked to make a decision in 2 hours with higher pay. I declined the offer and joined TCS with 2LPA less pay. Now happy that I have not joined Wipro. Wipro has zero variable pay now for B3 and above.
Not true. B band gets 70 percentage. Cand above zero this time for the quarter.
Wipro is a lala company who used to make oil
Better find other offer.
Just 2 weeks left, I dont want to go through the whole recruitment process again, I just need surety that Wipro will honour the offer letter and joining date, but I guess it is just going to be 2 weeks of stress and overthinking
No not all if your band is C1 avoid wipro.
Most of my colleagues who are C1 and above are serving a notice period.
As per the call with Senior management after variable pay cut for C1 the situation still doesn't look very promising.
Still if you are getting good monthly take home and fine with VP cuts in some quarters then join Wipro
Yes
Even I have the same question, my joining is in 2 weeks and I dont know how to handle right now, the HR assured that there is no issue but I don't want to be left in cold once I leave my current organization
@wipro1 yes ...i myself has got..when you work on certain CR..you can ask your manager for topgear. Amount paid is equivalent to hours spent.
if u couldn't find any other one, join the company.. change after some time...
Surely wipro will cut variable pay again next quarters. Thats why they had changed variable pay policy for this year only.
im just worried that these guys may make this the new norm
is it just wipro or will the other IT companies follow this?
oh okay, that makes sense, but I think Wipro js too big to fail probably some upper management changes and shuffles and they will be back on track hopefully
Don't join
