Looking for advice from folks familiar with Deloitte. Ive been interviewing for a role to staff their current project with the client. I never saw a JD and I can’t understand who is hiring me - Deloitte or the client. Am I going to be a permanent or contract employee? I’ve gone through multiple interviews with the client now and no one ever brought up the conditions of employment, salary, etc. if you are familiar with what I’m describing, please shed some light on this situation. Is it just me or do 90% of the jobs being laid off by big tech sound made up? Many job descriptions with multiple bullet points that all kinda revolve around the same idea. One of my buddies works for a big IT company and literally just sits on meetings all day. No one really contributing to anything other than agreeing to whatever the speaker is saying. Are these kind of jobs finally being exposed? Six figure employees getting paid to sit and bounce ideas off each other?

I’m currently a Grade 11 at Cisco. With the recent pay structure changes my annual comp will be $150k + 12% bonus. I live in a large metro area in the middle of the US. I’m looking to move around the company so that I can make commission but I don’t want to be an account manager.
