Any other work experience besides big 4? And what specific data experience do you have?
Nope, 7 years big 4 technology consulting. Big data mostly around Hadoop, data pipelines, architecture. Used to be more on the data science/Advanced analytics side previously

Especially Start Up you can use the title you want
It's going to be a difficult sell to get an SM role at a big 4 when you're currently a manager. If you're talking about a director at a bank, then it's going to be extremely difficult because most banks are very conservative about director roles for middle/back office - usually will insist on a lot of experience, in terms of years, for director roles. You would be more eligible for a VP role at a gsib and most dsibs. If you meant an insurance firm then director is usually a smaller position and reports to a VP for most P&C and Healthcare insurance firms.
Think OP is looking to exit consulting to industry at SM or Director level...
Yeah, that’s exactly right. Sorry for the confusion. M3 now looking for a senior manager or above role in industry (not consulting)
